Ms. Bailey has nine years of experience practicing in the areas of labor & employment, workers’ compensation and general civil litigation.  Ms. Bailey received her law degree with honors from Capital University Law School in May 2000 and is licensed to practice law in Ohio and New York.  She has held various positions in the legal profession, including Assistant General Counsel for a natural gas company and Senior Associate for one of the largest law firms in Cincinnati.   

Ms. Bailey represents clients in all aspects of employment litigation, including cases concerning wrongful discharge, promissory estoppel, breach of contract, enforcement of non-compete agreements, wage and hour claims and discrimination claims under the ADA, FMLA, ADEA and Title VII.  She handles cases before administrative agencies (such as the EEOC and the Ohio Civil Rights Commission), state and federal courts, and arbitration panels including JAMS, AAA and FINRA.   

Ms. Bailey frequently advises employers on various human resource matters and drafts employment policies and employee handbooks.  For the past three years, Ms. Bailey was responsible for drafting background check policies and managing the pre-employment screening process for a nationwide employer.  Ms. Bailey also created the company’s USERRA policy and managed its military leave process. 

She represents employers in all aspects of workers’ compensation, has prior experience as an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Ohio in their Workers’ Compensation section and currently represents one of Ohio's largest employee staffing and leasing companies in all aspects of workers' compensation.  

Ms. Bailey has general litigation experience which includes commercial disputes, church disputes, medical malpractice, antitrust and high stakes personal injury/wrongful death cases.  Ms. Bailey is also certified by the Council of Better Business Bureaus to serve as an Arbitrator for the BBB AUTO LINE program and currently arbitrates cases involving the nation's top auto manufacturers.
