CONNECT Business Development Institute (BDI) Is an outstanding and valuable learning opportunity for AACC members and other to receive business training from recognized experts in their respective fields of business expertise. Presented in partnership with the City of Cincinnati Department of Community Development, the mission of BDI is to provide on-going training to help businesses adequately prepare for the growth of their company. With topics that range from learning how to market your business on the worldwide web to learning how to go through the bonding process and much more, the AACC will develop and design training and education offerings that matter to start-ups and emerging businesses. BDI workshops are free to members and $15 for non-members. - July 28, 2009 - "Create a Buzz Online: Are You Effectively Managing Your E-Brand?": Presented by Crystal Kendrick, President - The Voice of Your Customer, July's BDI focuses on Social Networking. This training will help business owners learn how to effectively manage their e-brand in the world of global competition, networking sites and search engine optimization. Business owners will also learn to leverage new tools and traditional marketing strategies to create a competitive advantage for their small business.
- June 23, 2009 - "Transform Your Business Processes For Results": Presented by Gregory Battle, CEO - Coolant Control, Inc., June's BDI focused on Organizational Management. The training helped businesses get started on the process improvement path, which ultimately affects the bottom line and assists with tackling the challenges facing our economy. The workshop was relevant to businesses of any size, providing measurable improvements, increased efficiencies, and increased productivity.
Chamber Moments This program is designed to stimulate membership growth and increase awareness for our business members through radio advertising. Chamber Moments allows business members to offer helpful tips and more as it relates to the business member. All radio spots have been reduced to at least half the advertised price of airtime making this a valuable investment for any small and growing business.
ChamberNet Is a series of networking events that promotes professional development and business exchange. ChamberNet attracts an average of between 75-100 attendees, and features a keynote speaker and member spotlights. Build relationships with AACC member businesses that provide high quality products and services. Use the AACC to increase and diversify your company's supplier network. Our goal is to keep our members, sponsors, supporters and the community cognizant of the work that is being done on behalf of our constituents.
